Recognition for same sex parents?

THE Victorian Law Reform Commission has recommended State Attorney-General Rob Hulls grant more rights to same sex couples with children.
A change would mean that that a birth mother’s female partner would also be recognised as a parent, giving more legal rights to both mothers and child.
