Should mobile billboards be driven off our roads?
10 Comments Published 1 year, 4 months ago in Making News.City councils want mobile billboards banned from parking more than 15 minutes on our congested roads. Port Phillip has already done it and Yarra Council is considering a ban.
Yarra Councillor Kay Meadows says they are unregulated, they hog parks and clog the already congested city streets.
Do you think they have any place on our roads?
Melbourne’s nightclubs have to wear a 1400 per cent hike in copyright fees, which they say they’ll have to pass on to clubbers.
Given that Melbourne clubs are already pretty expensive, will this stop you from going out?

Thieves are attacking students in inner city parks to get their iPods and laptops. Melbourne’s armed robbery squad told the Melbourne Leader that students were victims of half the robberies reported in June. In one case, a student had a gun pressed to his head at Alexandra Gardens.
